My Boys. (:

Wonders of wonders ! I have 4 bloody days of holidays in front of me that I can't believe it. 4 days ! Of rest, no hitting the sacks at unearthly hours and not having to wake up early for bloody lectures ! :D But then, as you know, when there's up, there's down too. After that 4 days, deadlines for projs loom nearer, or rather, on the 5th day, 2 of our projs are due. And since the next 4 days are Chinese New Year, how on earth are we supposed to meet up and do our proj ?! So you see, nothing good ever comes out of it. ):

And also for coming down to my skl at times when I have long breaks to accompany me. I hope you're not thinking about all those silly stuffs anymore ok ? I am here whenever you need me. (;

Jori - Thanks for so many things too. For bothering to give me a wake up call every morning and doing follow ups every 15 mins to make sure that I've really got my arse outta bed. I bet it is a hard job since I procrastinate alot. ;p For listening to me and for bothering to come down all the way to my skl when I asked you to. And similarly, I hope you're not thinking about all those silly stuffs too. They are all in the past alr, dear. Look forward instead. Life and 2006 has alot more to bring to you.

Junwei - You cheeko lao ah pek ! Hey, thanks for being there for me and cheering me up whenever I am down. For the times when you've offered your help 'cos I was really at my wits' end. For the times when you've gone overseas and bought stuffs back for me. For all the wonderful wonderful memories you've given me. For taking in all my crap and suan-ing though I reckon you do it more to me than I to you. Hehs. But thanks. Be brave ok ! Go for what you want. (:

Sam - You're in army alr. ): You are one of my longest friend, we've known each other practically since we were born ! Thanks for always asking after me and wanting the best for me. For worrying for me and letting me know that you are always there for me. (:

Sikai - Hey dear. You've done alot for me too. For all the times that you've taken care of me during chalets, for always sacrificing your arm for me as pillow when we camp out and not complaining even if it went numb, for wanting to buy me lunch everyday in skl, for listening to me, for letting me know that you are there for me. (: And I wanna say a special thanks to you for staying out with me late the other night, talking senses into me and letting me see everything at its face value. *bighug. Tam - I feel so sad cos you're in NS alr, which means that I can't see you that often already. Someone.

Today, I shall write about someone. Someone whom I'm glad to have in my life; someone who has stepped into my life precisely at the moment when I need support.

HELLO MR JORI ! Hahaha. ;p Thanks for all that you've been to me. (; I enjoy talking to you, spending time with you. You've been a blessing to me ! :D Thanks for stepping into my life now, just when everything seems like it's a mess. You won't know how much you've done to me. When I am with you or talking to you, I suddenly forget all the mess that I have in me. You make me forget about all the unhappy stuffs and you make me see that there's still something good out there. Thanks aiight ? (:

I've told you before and I wanna say again that you are a good guy. Don't think too much about everything. Just let things take its own natural course. You will find a girl who's gg to be worthy of you 'cos there's so much good in you that I see.

I still have alot to say to you, but I don't know how to go about saying it all. But yes, you are really nice though you always jack me. ): Lols. But it's aiight. Hahaha. Okays, I hope you will get well soon okays ? Cos it hurts to see you like this now. ):

KPOs.

I feel like I am under surveillance 24/7. It's not my parents; ironically, it's my neighbours. Think hiding behind curtains etc. Yes, that kind ! Ugh. Just fuggin' gets on my nerves okays. I mean, hello aunties, you see and you think too much about it and you blow it out of proportions and I end up being in such weird and tight situation.

Take Monday for example. I was feeling very sick on Monday, trembling like F and running a fever. And Ivan was nice enough to walk me home, to carry my fuggin' heavy bag. And my neighbour saw me. Well, I DIDN'T EVEN SEE HER YOU KNOW ! I wonder where she was when she saw me. So anyways, she came and told my mum about it today. -.-" Luckily I've told my mum on Monday, when I came home, that my friend walked me home cos I was feeling sick otherwise, I don't know what kind of shit I would be in now.

And take the period of time that my family was away for example. He came over nearly everyday and had to be sneaky about it because of what happened the first night my family was away. We went out driving at midnight, taking my dad's car. I mean, it's ok since he's damn steady and everything. And I entrust my life into his hands. And anyways, hello. I am 8teen gg 9teen this year. So anyways, my neighbour saw.. Even though we went out at like 1am in the morning ! I wonder what she was doing then can ? Cos I mean, the lights in her house were switched off. Then she wanted to text my mum all the way overseas to tell her about it. Yes, you heard right. She wanted to do that; until her husband scolded her for being sucha busybody. HAHAHAHA.

Had a very long day ytd. Started skl at 8am and I was late again. ): The day only ended at 630pm cos I had to go do my childcare attachment makeup. And then, I went to meet Jori at J8. Hahaha. Sorry wor. I was so fuggin' late. Lols ! You must know, I had to wait for a bus to get to Bukit Panjang thereafter, I had to take a LRT to CCK MRT and LRTs are like snails crawling. And when I reached CCK, I decided to go Lot 1 for a while. Hahaha. Then I had to take a super long train ride and you know, yours truly is an idiot at taking trains and I nearly took the wrong train. Hehs. :D I had fun though i got jacked so many times. ): That guy not gentleman at all. NVR SEND ME HOME. Wahsehhhhhhh. Hahaha. Kding la. :D Gg out to mug mug mug tmr. Force me to mug at gun-point ok ? :D And kayaking soon soon soon ! Erm, well, YOU kayak I sit and sun tan. (:

Am I ? Really ? Truly ?

I am getting desperate ! Chinese New Year is coming and I have yet to buy my clothes ! ): Not that I die die have to wear new clothes on Chinese New Year but since I have the money now, I have to go and buy clothes before I spend it on redundant stuffs. Chinese New Year is like.. 10 days away ! Out of which, 6 days are skl days. 4 days ! How can 4 days be enough when everywhere is practically spilling with people ! I have spent every available time for the past week, shopping. But what have I bought ? Only a pair of shoes and watch ? Then what ? I wear nothing for Chinese New Year ? ): I hate crowds. Maybe that's why I hate clubbing. Hahaha.

Someone just commented that I am a high maintenance girl. Is it ? Actually, I think so too. Hahaha.
- I cab at every available opportunity.
- Even though I always whine and lament about how things are so much more expensive in Singapore as compared to Shanghai, I always end up buying those stuffs. Simply because, yours truly likes it.
- Then I come home and realise it isn't actually that nice. ):
- They say I eat alot. But I don't alr. I survive on either 1 or 1 1/2 meals per day now. Because I don't have the appetite. Oh, speaking of which, I took my full 3 meals today so pls clap for me. :D
- My bills are horrendous. ): handphone, electricity and water. In Shanghai, 80% of my household allowance goes to that. Only 20% is for rental of room.

You know why my water bills are so high ? Because.. I keep taking showers. Hahaha. He kinda scolded me for that cos he says I am mad. I take shower before going out, after coming home, before I sleep, after I wake up and whenever I have nothing to do. I think he got irritated with it cos when he came over, I was always in and out of the toilet. HAHAHA. I also don't know why. Oh, maybe that's why my electricity bills are high too. Cos of the heater. And sometimes I switch on alr then I forget about it.

I told Weiwei that I shall find a husband who is a CEO of some company, preferably along the apparel lines. (: Heh heh hehs. And I don't want to be filthy rich. I just want to have a wallet that's self-replenishing. ((:

I've forgotten the feeling of taking shower early in the morning. It is f-ingly cold, I tell you. I nearly died while washing up 'cos seriously, after coming back from Shanghai, I've forgotten the meaning of "to be cold".

I feel all selfish. ):

I feel uber selfish all of a sudden. ): I wish I could kidnap you now until the date of your flight is long over so that you can stay here in Singapore. I wish we had gone out tgt earlier so that I won't have this sad feeling that I am gg to see you a few more times before you go back to THAT place. I wish that you were gg back to me like before, but this time, you are gg away from me. I wish that we could go back there tgt, because you know, I need you and you need me when we are in that gerzee-merzee place.

"You never fully appreciate what you have until you lose it." Yeah. For the past year that we've been back, we never bothered to catch up; distance was always an issue with you in the East and me in the West. But now, I realise that this distance cannot be compared to the hundreds and thousands of miles that's gg to separate us soon. That vast sea and all the different islands dotted in between. I wish I could erase them from the atlas so that we could be nearer.

I had fun with you on Saturday. I really did. And I am glad that we didn't change. When we were talking on Friday night about feeling all different with our best friends ( or maybe ex-best friends ) when we meet them again years later, I was feeling skeptical. I was afraid that we were gg to be like that and we would feel awkward tgt the next day. But I am glad that we were not. We were just like before. It was as though we had never been apart for an entire year.

At the arranged time, I was looking for a girl who was looking all harassed with wind-blown hair. That's how I remember you when you were late in meeting me when we were in SH. And there you were, looking for me in contacts but not noticing me 'cos I had decided to wear my specs. The same ol' blur you. (; Halfway through the day, I was already having sorethroat from all the chatting. Amazing how topics can never be exhausted between us. Even when we were living tgt, we could still talk everyday and night, and still have things to say to each other that we have to sms secretly in class. I love that.

Though we had many misunderstandings and hiccups in between, I am glad that we pulled through. At every stage, I hated what was happening to us but looking back now, I am glad for those hiccups cos we got to know each other better through it and we worked round them. Despite Alex, despite the times when our actions pissed each other off.

There was a time when I was always out with Annie & Simon and you were always out clubbing with Sang Hyun & Michelle. That period of time was horrible. We would come home to each other and smile to each other but inside, we didn't really feel like smiling to each other at all. It felt so awkward to be living together at the point of time because anyone could see that I would rather be with Annie & Simon and you with Sang Hyun & Michelle. And then I realised that it was because you were feeling lonely and left out when I spent most of my day with Annie & Simon and I was feeling lonely and left out too when you were out clubbin through the night with Sang Hyun & Michelle. I didn't really like waking up in the morning without you at home or waking up with you all konked out on your bed. I realised and acknowledge those facts but I didn't apologise to you before for making you feel left out. But after a while, we got back to the same us and you won't know how elated I felt ! (: Oh, you know. There was this night that I came home to see Sang Hyun at our place and for some reasons, I was feeling pissed off with that fact cos I had expected to have been asked about it. Then I stomped around the room and I tripped and sprained my toe. Lols. ;p

Remember "Ha Ka Qiao" ? Remember the night rides to Huai Hai for I-can't-remember what reasons ? Remember all the shopping sprees that we had at XiangYang, People's Square, Xiang Gang Ming Dian Jie etc and me doing all the impulsive stuffs ? Remember us bluffing those ignorants that we were Koreans, Americans, Africans and other what nots ? Remember me using your MSN to kid Sang Hyun that I was your African friend and he falling for it ? Remember the night that we didn't sleep cos I was having trouble with YX and you came over and after that, we bought birthday breakfast for Sang Hyun and even sent it to his doorstep ? Remember the nights that we sat at People's Square talking about our lives ? Us eating at YYY, Orange Cafe, the mall-that-has-a-Singapore-feel, ma-la-tang and basically, all over the place ? Oh, and the only-open-at-3am shop.

I miss the nightly walks that we had. Walking all over the place with no destination in mind and having just enough money to bargain a cabride home so that we could go out and have our supper ? The nights that we brought Scripp, Scrapp and Scoop out for walks in winter and people thinking that we were mad cos we were only clad in SHORTS, SLIPPERS and a pullover. And the giggles that we shared whenever some random strangers shout at me 'cos I was wearing a skirt in the middle of winter but it was never actually as cold as they make it to be. How you would always slip your hands into my pockets because you were cold or when you were too cold, you would put your hands underneath my clothes because I was the 24/7 heater. The fire that we started with Seven all because we wanted to make birthday breakfast for Michelle. The time when Seven went over to your place to study with us before we moved in tgt and the table broke and I was feeling embarassed and you were just feeling worried cos it was Kenneth's table. Hahaha. I just wanna laugh about Kenneth's pok room cos the washing machine broke down and flooded his room. The times when we crashed each other's lecture. Me and you gossiping about Sang Hyun in class with the person in mind either just beside us or behind or in front of us. The time you saved me during my first and last sketching class cos the teacher was mean enough to say that my drawing sucked and I dropped the module just like that. The meetings at Lilian Cakeshop when you have lessons at B block while I had lessons at the main building.

When we bound together cos those ignorants tried to bully us thinking that we were idiots. The time at Mei Luo Cheng when I was about to break the glass at the bitch's shop, the stupid taxi driver who drove us in such a lok kok car and still dare to charge us 50RMB. Those nights that you had to literally dragged me home 'cos all I wanted was to cab. And you would start singing Blue to keep me walking. The time when we went to buy breakfast at Mac before taking a bus to skl and when we reached our stop, I alighted and stood there munching on my burger waiting for you to alight too. But the bus went off and I thought you had went to class so I went to my building, still happily munching on my burger when you called and shouted "F***!" like really really loud cos the driver didn't want to wait for you to squeeze yourself out of the bus. The time when we crossed the river to the other side to see how it was like and it was the squatters' area. How we were both damn scared cos we were afraid they would kidnap us or sth. How we finally got accosted by this pehpeh who was damn friendly with us and brought us around to visit his friends. It was scary yet enlightening cos we got to see how the poor people lived. Then he brought us up to the rooftop so that we could see the whole squatters area and he started rambling along, telling us about the history of that place. And both of us looking dead serious, nodding our head and mumbling, "Oh.. Yuan lai ru ci." randomly and all the time, we were feeling fuckin' cold and couldn't wait to get out of that place. And after meeting that pehpeh's family, he even offered to get his daughter to bring us around SH. HORRORS. So we kept our mobile phones shut. And when we got home, we realised that actually neither one of us understood what the pehpeh was talking about the entire time we were up on the roof.

One of the best times in my life was spent with you and the reason that it was so good was mainly because of you too. Though it wasn't exactly carefree [ best & carefree memory would be in Vietnam with my girls. ] I still enjoyed myself tonnes with you. (: I wish you wouldn't go back there without me but I guess, God has already laid out his plans for you. For now, I shall not think of that dreaded day but continue to have fun with you. Friday night at Harry's Bar, dear. (: NAla & LAna; always growing together.

I wish you could see this.

Love the girl in your heart, not in your mind. If you base your relationship on feelings, it will fail you for there are ups & downs in feelings. Girls are there to be loved, not toyed around.

Love her for who she is. Don't even think about changing any bit about her. 6 billion people in this world & 6 billion different personalities. She's special and she will stay that way. You change any part of her, you'll change her forever. Don't substitute her for anyone else, they are just unique in their own ways.

Love whole-heartedly. She sacrificed alot for you so you'd better really treasure her. She could have just got up and date a so-much-more-dashing guy in town but she chose you instead, all because of love. So love her guys, not play with her. Don't just get the girl to beg you to stay or whatsoever. If you're with her, love her. Don't cause a strain in the relationship; you'll end up loving each other out of pity or charity. That's not repecting love at all. Respect love the way it is & everything will be the best it can be. Don't expect perfection from her.

She's the only one in the world & she's done the best she could. Like another girl while you're in a relationship ? Then I think it's time you remain single for a while. Don't go around breaking girls' hearts; it's the most tragic thing to do.

Tell the truth, never hide anything from her. If you want her to tell you everything, do the same. Don't go calling other girls "honey" or "darling", how would it feel if your girl calls other guys the same way ? Be faithful; enough is enough.

Socialize only when you're single. You socialize & flirt around to get the girl of your dreams. Get it over when she's already yours, don't ask for more. It never kills to be romantic. Think, be flexible. Getting that diamond ring isn't the only gift for her. Be realistic; she's human & she lives life just like you. Something sweet & simple always get the job done. Money doesn't exist between couples; it's the love.

Never promise her that you'll love her forever because your "forever" might end the next day. Love her as if each day is the last. Sweet talks only apply for singles, not for attached guys. Do that & you'll really break your girl's heart. It isn't good being too well-known either; it'll give her a sense of insecurity. Remember, INSECURITY.

Promise her & make sure you never break it. Swear to her & make sure you keep it. Pledge your love to her & her alone. Loving her is giving her your heart to break it but trusting her not to. Instead, she'll cherish it and protect it. That's love. Give her your heart, your life, your everything. lay down your life & prepare to die for her when the need arises. But stay strong & live through another day; she can never live without you.

Never, ever walk out of her life. She won't just cry her heart out & carry on living as per normal; she'd die. It's her heart that you've broken, how would you ever know how she feels ?

Winning a girl's heart isn't the final victory. Don't leave her once you've won her love. Love her all the way till the end of time; love her till marriage; love her till old age; love her till death. If you can love her till the end of time, you've earned the honor & respect, for you've truly loved her.

She chose you because she believes that you can fulfil your promise. Win her heart & love her over. Remember, the girl isn't a trophy for display; she's someone to love, not to show off to your friends. Stay humble yet proud that she's the one for you. I'm healing. Slowly but surely. But at random times, I still do miss you. But I've made the decision so I've gotta stand by it. [ Jan 11: On a sidenote, I've figured lots of things out today while I was standing in the showers. And after figuring those things out, I am feeling more at peace with myself alr. (: Conclusion: there's going to be no more us but only you and I; she and him. It's going to be better for the both of us, you will see, boy. (: Cos for now, what we are after are different things and while it's still at that stage, it gets too tiring for me, for you. You may put me aside for I'm sure we'll meet again as long as we are under the same sun as said by my twinny. (: ]

A short update about my day yesterday. Went out for breakfast in the morning with my family. Came home, washed up and wenta town with Oliver. Hung around Plaza Singapura while waiting for our friends. First time he treated me to sth though he ate up most of it. Lols.

Went down to Somerset to meet the girl. But she was very late and by the time she came, I had finished walking around Specialist Center and Robinsons. Wenta Sushi Tei for lunch and guess how much we spent ?! $10. Hahahaha. The first plate of unagi was sucha turn off that we didn't have any appetite after that. Walked over to Far East to shop around but there were too many people. ):

Cabbed down to Bugis to shop around. SHOP SHOP SHOP ! But we bought nothing. Both of us were feelin'g fuggin' irritated I tell you. Met up with Oliver for a short while and all 3 of us went to Icon, the new fashion mall opposite Parco. WAHLAU ! 6 floors but only one bloody lift. AND THEN ! I bought a Bathing Apes cap.. For ... Guess how much ? 59 buckaroos. -.-" Heartpain ah !

Then Oliver left to meet his friends again so me and the girl continued with our mission of "die die must buy something today". So we walked the whole of Bugis Junction and Bugis Village. And what did we come out with ? NOTHING.

So we walked to Raffles City. Still, nothing. ): So we went to Citylink. And then, NOTHING. Not our day maybe. Sigh. So, we decided to take a short break at Thai Express. SHORT break was intended actually, but it ended up as a long break. Hahaha. By the time we sat down at TE, both of us were with hoarse throats and nearly croaking. Been yakking away the entire day you see. So much catching ups to do.

Then, still not wanting to give up on our mission, we went to Marina Square. About to die alr, I tell you. Then we walked into Charles & Keith and saw this heels that was pretty sweet. Then, because of our "die die must buy something today" and our "I going to die liao", we decided to both purchase the heels. Hahaha. $18.90 is still aiight I guess.

And then, since we accomplished our mission, we walked over to Esplanade to sit and continue talking. I was feeling so mean that I wanted to call Sang Hyun and make fun of him ! Hahahah. I even had my lil convo composed in my head ! (: "Hello Sang ah ! We are having sooooo much fun now leh. -band music at the back- Too bad you are not here ! WAHAHAHHS! -hang up on him before he can say anything-." Yeah ! But too bad, none of us kept his number. LOLs. Oh yeah, I just found out that his gf is my senior in primary skl.

Yeah. So we just sat there and talked about everything. From life, to relationships, to this, to that. It was really.. Everything. I love talking to her. I seriously do. Then we left at 9pm. She went home while I went to Chinatown to find my family. And yah, I bloody got scolded like F for the cap. I bet everyone will scream at me if they see what it looks like for 59 bucks. It's damn plain actually. But it's imported from Japan and there's only 6 in the world. Yah. You think I very stupid to believe these ? But I bought from my cousin's shop. He won't bluff me. And like so paiseh if never buy anything from him since he just open shop. So bobian. Buy lo. He wanted to give me FOC actually, but.. His partner there, so not that nice. His partner quite cute leh ! Either a Taiwanese or a Hong Konger. I think it's the latter but he doesn't speak with a weird slang. Hmm.

A day of rest.

I was sick today. My mum told me to take out some chinese medicine from the cupboard and take 4 of it. I don't even know what they are and what they are for ! But I just down them like some 'lil kids eating chocolates. HOW ! I was about to go to the doctors then MY MUM SELF DIAGNOSE THEN I DON'T HAVE ANY MCS TO PRODUCE ON MONDAY ! ROARS. Okays. I shall go to the polyclinic later and concoct up some illness. Hehs. :D

Anyways, since I was sick at home, I got to watch Debbie Travis Facelift ! ( This is the world's first reality-based decorating/remodeling show. While one member of the family is away, Debbie and the Facelift team renovate, redecorate and reinvent a room or even a whole house in whatever time is available. Each space will combine the latest in flooring, furnishings, cabinetry and appliances. And the best part? It doesn't cost the homeowner a cent. )

Yeah ! I totally dig this show. I think I am becoming such a homebody. (: plus I can cook, so there ! Plus bake. Hehs. I am going to bake brownie fudge cake on Sunday ! Tra-la-la. How come nobody believes me when I say I can cook ? I really can ok ! Ask the YEP team, ask my girls, ask my family, ask him. They are all living proof and they didn't die from eating what I cook ok ! :D So anyways, back to the show. Yeah ! I love watching it. I think the suspense and the time-limit thingy is what glues me to the show. I think that lady's great man ! I mean, even if you gave her 3 days and a whole roomful of angst-driven teenagers, she'll still be able to complete the job. Hehs. This particular example was from last last week. Been in skl so I don't get to watch it anymore. She tore down the whole family room which looked worst than our regular storeroom when its filled with goodies in preparation for CNY. This family room was so so so much worst ! Whatever the family didn't want, they just chunked it into the room and this has gone on for like what, 3-5 years ! So imagine ! And they nvr clean it out. NVR ! But within 3 days, Debbie Travis managed to clean out the room, pull out the linoleum floor and put on plywood floor, pull out the bar yadah yadah yadah. YAH. My idol. Lols. I bet her own house looks damn nice. (:

Goodness me. Why am I yakking about such a topic ? -.-" The fever must be getting to me. Oh yeah. I HAVE A SECRET CONCOCTION FOR FEVER LEH ! But don't know why no one wants to take it ! Not even HIM ! Must trust me ma. It really works ! If you're asking me why I nvr take the concoction, I take it one ok ! Just that suay suay today I don't have the most important ingredient at home. Oh yah. I just remembered, my mother also refuses to try. ); Sigh, it really does work ! Anyone interested in knowing, please tell me k ? Then I will tell you but you must keep quiet la. There's this family near my place who is doing some renovation in their house, I think. I am not that sure but I just keep hearing drillings and bangings and other whatnots. And as if that is not bad enough, the uncles are singing at the top of their voice ! WTF ! Like trying to imitate Fei Yu Qing like that. And when they are not doing that, they are talking at the top of their voices for the entire estate to hear.

Shopping, shopping, shopping tmr ! I die die also must get well ! Random list of what I have in mind to buy:
- tops tops tops ! Camisoles, t-shirts blablabla. I wish I could get one of each tmr. Hehs.

Bittersweet Memories.

Ah Du was just telling me that there's this guy called Lee from CJC who went back to Xuan Phu Shelter to spend Xmas with the kids. Bloody rich guy too, supposedly, since he's sponsoring one of the kids too [ I should think that it is Phong that he's sponsoring. ]. Hello gorgor, blanjah me next time k ? I also wanna go. (:

Anyways, she told me that he was on our NP YEP friendster list so I logged on to look at the photos he took with them. BAM ! Nostalgia just hit me right between the eyes, straight on the mark. I reckon that the Hue-shaped hole in my heart is growing bigger by the second. I miss them, I MISS THEM ! I miss them terribly. ): I can sob my heart out now at the moment. Looking at the photos, I felt both happy and yet uber uber sad at the same time. Sigh. ));

On a sidenote, I've figured lots of things out today while I was standing in the showers. And after figuring those things out, I am feeling more at peace with myself alr. (: Conclusion: there's going to be no more us but only you and I; she and him. It's going to be better for the both of us, you will see, boy. (: Cos for now, what we are after are different things and while it's still at that stage, it gets too tiring for me, for you. You may put me aside for I'm sure we'll meet again as long as we are under the same sun as said by my twinny. (:

Names.

I can't believe it ! My mum was just telling me that she had initially wanted to name me Valarie ! Okays. That's random. But imagine ! Imagine if she had stick with Valarie and all of you would be calling me that now. Either that or maybe nicknames like Valval, Val or whatever.

" Hello aunty. Is Valarie/Val at home ?"
" Val ah ! Dinner time !"
"Ah bel ah. Ler yao bo? ( Ah Val ah, you hungry alr?" <- my ah ma.

Ugh.

What's the use of having a dryer at home when it is not put to use ? Ugh. It keeps raining and raining AND RAINING like nobody's business. And my clothes can't get dried. And the dryer is happily sitting there. IT HAS EVEN YET TO BE USED CAN ?!

And now, I am supposed to be gg out. It's 11:22am. I am supposed to reach wherever I'm supposed to go at 12pm ! *rolls eyes.

Is it us or is it just the class ? Ugh. I can't stand it. They are getting increasingly irritating. Firstly, it was the incident in lecture the other day. And now, the same group PLUS another has stepped on our toes again ! Fuggin' hell I tell you.

I was just so annoyed yesterday that I thought my blood vessel would burst and I would start foaming. We were having this debate for tutorial yesterday. 2 groups had to combine into 1 and choose a topic to debate on in which each sub-group would choose to take up either the pro or the con side. Some idiots chose "Is it better to have rules .... " Okays. I forgot the exact question but the main idea is around there; whether having rules are deemed effective or not. Then we had to choose the pro and con side. And hello, since they chose the topic, that should kinda mean that they can fight either stand and let us have the choice of which stand we want to take, since they hadn't the decency to ask us for our opinion before choosing. HOWEVER, they happily chose the con side; that rules should be set...

Which leaves my group to fight it and say that, "No no, having rules are not good." HELLO AH ! WHICH PERSON IN THE RIGHT FRAME OF MIND WOULD SAY THAT HAVING RULES ARE NOT GOOD ! Ugh.

But I am proud of my group. ((: Yayness to Winnie, Xuzhen, Nancy and to our pro debater, JASMINE ! Hahaha. We bind tgt in times of adversity. :D

And then, we were nearly winning the debate when some audience on the floor had to shoot us questions that were totally NOT RELATED to us. I mean, hello. We were not the ones who said that children should have a hand in making the rules. THE OTHER GROUP DID. And same went for another question that they shot at us but was not related to us at all again. And it was clear to see, that they were obviously trying to put us down. UGH. SICKENING BIATCHES. And yes, they are the same "shit" girls.

I just get more and more annoyed when I see them. But the day ended up good in the end. We met up and we cleared some misunderstandings between us. (; Missing yooouuuuu now. :D

End of the week.

I nearly died this morning. Skl starts at 8am on Fridays but after 2 weeks of holidays, I forgot about it. And there I was this morning, happily thinking that lectures starts at 9am when Jasmine text me telling me that she would be super late for lecture. And so, thinking that lecture starts at 9, I only step into the showers at ard 820am, 20 minutes into the lecture ! Lols. Then jasmine texted me again at 845 telling me that she was in the LT alr and I was thinking, "HUH ? But you're early by 15 mins ! How could you be super late ?!" Then I checked my timetable and nearly died on the spot. I was alr 1 1/2 hrs late ! Lols. If my attendance wasn't marked today, I reckon I will be debarred from Child Health & Nutrition exams alr. Lols.

First day of skl was BAD. I was still in a holiday mood, which I think, most of us were. The December break was too short to accomplish much, let alone refresh ourselves in preparation for the onslaught of the final exams this term. But we are all slowly gaining momentum alr. ((:

Well well, what else did I want to blog on ? Thoughts are zooming around in my brain. So yes, I have to pluck them out of mid air and blog them down randomly. Hehs.

OHH. I was fuggin' irritated in class today. There I was, sitting in my seat, being a good and hardworking student today. And I had to listen to a bunch of people talk about wanting to shit the entire time during lecture. I mean, HELLO ! I have absolutely zero interest and I don't want to know whether you want to shit or not. And besides, that was such an uncouth topic and there they were, talking about it in a rather loud voice.

What else ? Hmm. Oh ! Can some kind-hearted people pls pls PLS remind me to bring a library book on Monday to return ?! It is long overdue and it keeps slipping my mind ! )):

Oh yes, I found the lizard frozen in the freezer ytd. I was hiding behind my maid while she opened the freezer and she refused to believe that there was a lizard inside until we saw it. Then the both of us stood in the kitchen and screamed for nearly a min thereafter, we promptly shut the door again, leaving the lizard inside. Lols. Had to wait till my dad to come home before he cleared it out.

Okays. I wanna apologise to my dear Madmine and Xin. I think I kinda pissed them off ytd and made them worry like mad when I came late to skl since I was holding onto the proj. SORRY GIRLS ! No more next time, I assure you. HEHEHE. ;p

The poor, albeit stupid, Chitter Leezard. )): I opened the freezer to take out some ice for my drink and it ran in ! Horrors ! I patiently stood there with the door opened for 2 mins but it chose to go yet further in. And of course I wasn't going to use my hands to catch it ! So I closed the door. I reckon it is either in shock now or already dead. I shall sorely miss its chitters at night. "Ttttt.. ttttt ttttt." it used to go. Now, the cold stony silence shall meet me whenever I step into the kitchen. [ cues in tears. ] You will be missed, Chitter Leezard. ):

Okays. I bet you're all thinking why I was scandalized yesterday right ? Firstly, early in the morning, as I was chatting with my BP dear, he suddenly asked me why I don't go clubbing since I have the clubbing look. ?! Do I seriously have the clubbing look ?? I think I have the good girl look, you know dear. HAHAHA. I feel scandalized ! Cos I pride myself on having the good girl's look. Hahaha. Joke. ;p

And in the day, I went out with my friend. And apparently, she thought that I was engaged ! WAHHHH ! So scandalous to be engaged at 18 years old without a baby in tow ! But I think it would be even more scandalizing with a baby in tow. But anyways, the main point is, WAH ! I wonder how all of you would react if one fine day this year I really come up and tell you that I am engaged. Haha.

On a sidenote, I witnessed something that I thought was funny at Mac the other day. Yes, Mac AGAIN. You know how small the cup is when you ask for iced water right ? The really midget kind. So well, there was this lady who was asking for iced water and she was like, "Hi. I want 2 cups of iced water with more ice pls." And I was thinking, "WTF. With more ice you don't need to drink the water alr." So the guy came back with the 2 cups and she was like, "Erm. I asked for iced WATER, not ice." But the thing is, the guy has put water in alr just that there's too much ice so there wasn't enough space for more water. I wanted to laugh my head off I tell you.

Happy 2006 !

Happy twenty-oh-six, people ! May God's richest blessings be upon you both today and throughout the year - and may those blessings flow through you to touch the lives of everyone you meet. ((:

The crowd yesterday was terrible ! You should have seen the queue outside MoS. It was .. I don't know what to say. Hahaha. Anyways, I had a good evening yesterday and I hope all of you enjoyed the last moments of 2005. Last year on New Year Eve, I was still in Shanghai. I forgot what I did that day. Oh wait, I think I remembered. Simon and I had breakfast at Ritz Carlton Portman ! Lols. Nice big American breakfast. Then we went grocery shopping for lunch since Annie was gg over to Simon's place to cook lunch. For dinner, the 3 of us headed to Ma Boom Krong at Times Square along Huai Hai Middle Rd. Thai food, oh glorious Thai food. The 3 of us always had sudden cravings for Thai food. Heh heh hehs. Then the 2 adults decided to pull me to Hey Judy's !, this club along Tong Ren Rd. I refused but I still got dragged in the end. Then we stood outside and waited for Joseph to come and boy was he late ! And that day was about the coldest ever with the wind howling. I was REALLY trembling and my teeth were chattering. But I met Bobo ! Hahaha. Stupid, himbotic name maybe but he looked like Peter Ho ! So anyways..

2005 was indeed a memorable year. It was the year that I decided to come back to Singapore for good; the year I had to make a tough choice on what I really want to do in life; the year I started a new chapter in life when I enrolled in ECH; the year I made great great friends; the year I went on a life-changing trip that has left a Hue-shaped hole in my heart; the year I passed my Grade 8 practical. So many memories, good and bad. But I'm sure that 2006 has more in stored for me and by God's grace, it will be a fulfilling and great year for me. ((:

No resolutions were set this year cos I kinda figured that its not gg to be of much use. Resolutions are set but how many of it are actually met ? I think it is set only to make yourself feel better, like you have a goal for the year. But this year, I'm not gg to set any.. NOT that I don't have any goals. I think I shall go with the flow, play by the ears. Whatever comes my way, I shall just grab hold of them and give thanks. But even then, I hope I will change. To a better me, that is.
